What role does hydrogen play in CO2 -neutral mobility? Messe Frankfurt continues 'Energy4Mobility' talk series

The transport sector is responsible for 20 percent of total CO2 emissions in Germany [1]. In contrast to many other sectors, greenhouse gases in transport have still increased in recent years, by 7 percent since 1990. According to the Climate Protection Act, CO2 emissions are to be halved by 2030 and reduced to zero by 2045 [2]. But which alternative fuels are sufficiently available and can be used quickly and efficiently? Experts from industry and associations discussed this at the Energy4Mobility Talk on 15 June in Munich. The experts agreed that hydrogen is needed for emission-free mobility.
