Sustainable energy for the entire fleet: next Energy4Mobility expert talk in the ‘Way2ZeroEmissions’ series in Stuttgart in April

26 Mar 2024

The experts at the next Energy4Mobility Talk on April 11 in Stuttgart will reveal how companies can succeed in switching to sustainable fuels with their vehicles in a cost-neutral way. Following the successful launch in October, this is already the second talk in the ‘Way2Zero Emissions’ series, which Messe Frankfurt is organizing in cooperation with the Württembergischer Automobilclub e.V.

At the next Energy4Mobility Talk entitled ‘CSRD - Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and TCO - Total cost of ownership’, top-class speakers will discuss how the switch to refuels can succeed even without subsidies. Companies throughout Europe are currently facing the challenge of preparing and implementing a sustainability report (CSRD) for their company for the first time. The background to this is the European climate targets, for which considerable amounts of CO2 must also be saved in road transport by 2050. In presentations and a panel discussion, the experts at the talk will show how the use of sustainable fuels such as refuels can help achieve this. They will also provide specific tips and use cases to illustrate how companies can prepare for the future of the German and European logistics market.

In addition to keynote speaker Dr. Marco Warth, Vice President Corporate Engineering at Mahle, speakers from the fields of finance and consulting, energy and logistics have already announced their attendance. These include representatives from Robert Bosch GmbH, EDi Energie-Direkt Hohenlohe GmbH, Horváth & Partners, ING Wholesale Banking Germany as well as from the Steinbeis Advisory Centre ESG and Sustainability.

“It is precisely because the switch to sustainable fuels is becoming increasingly important in the automotive sector that we are keen to promote this topic together with the Württembergischer Automobilclub”, explains Michael Johannes, Vice President Mobility & Logistics at Messe Frankfurt. "Our aim with the Energy4Mobility series of talks is not only to focus equally on all climate-friendly energies, we also want to create a platform where synergies can be created. A place where knowledge transfer and exchange between experts is possible, where the best solutions for a Way 2 Zero Emissions can be found in a way that is open to all technologies." Jürgen Preuß, press officer of the Württemberg Automobile Club, adds: "The fact that this place is needed was shown to us not only by the well-attended last talk, but also by the feedback from the participants."

The talk will take place on April 11, 2024, from 5 p.m., in the premises of the Württembergischer Automobilclub e.V. in Stuttgart.
